This adaptation keeps getting more and more bizarre!!
Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel have both confirmed that they're headlining the Garry Marshall helmed remake of the '70s comedy, Laverne and Shirley, and now the project has landed an unlikely scriptwriter: Jamie Foxx!
Seriously?? WTF??
Marshall says:
"Jamie and I are trying to do it. He's writing it. It's a whole different modern take on how they came up on the streets during difficult times. Laverne would be this very tough girl with a big 'L' tattooed on her arm. Jennifer Garner would play Laverne and Jessica Biel would play Shirley."
Okay, we've heard enough. Casting Jessica Biel is offense #1, but this 'growing up on the mean streets' take on the show just sounds godawful!!
