And it's not by Katie Holmes.
Michael Davis Sapir is suing Tom Cruise, attorney Bert Fields and private investigator Anthony Pellicano for conspiring to spy on him.
The suit claims Tom hired the private investigator to wiretap Sapir's phone in 2001, which was the same time Tom was suing Michael for $100 million when he claimed to have video evidence of the scientologist "engaged in a homosexual relationship."
Juicy!
That lawsuit was settled later in 2001 and both parties said in a statement that there was no tape.
So now, almost 9 years later, Sapir is suing the actor for $5 million, minimum.
Tom's people have yet to comment on the lawsuit, but Bert Fields says "The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case."
He sure does make it sound like they hired him on other cases.
